Anna, known as IndiAnna to the artists at Open Hearts, is originally from Bloomington, Indiana. Since 2017, Anna has freelanced as a multi-disciplinary artist, creating original logos, murals, and paintings. In 2020, Anna pivoted towards the healing arts and has been weaving together Somatic Experiencing (trauma healing), therapeutic art, and community service. In 2023, Anna moved to Asheville with the hopes of discovering a space to explore therapeutic art, direct care, and service-oriented creative community. Open Hearts was the perfect place to plant and has proven to be her favorite job she’s ever had.
