Emily Austin Land is a creative healer at heart, holding a B.A. in Psychology and Art from Appalachian State University (2016). In 2017, following the wisdom of her grandfather, she intuitively relocated to the Southwest, where she began an art program at a new charter school in Colorado. Her time out West was radical and transformative, taking her to places and spaces beyond her imagination.
Emily returned to Asheville in 2022 to focus on healing her own mind, body, and spirit. She is deeply fascinated by the process of using creative practices to heal physical, psychological and spiritual dis-ease, and she is passionate about bridging the gap between modern and ancestral healing modalities. Her work is greatly inspired by artists like Frida Kahlo and Georgia O’Keeffe, whose bold and deeply personal expressions of self, nature, and spirit continue to guide her journey.
Co-creating within her community and showing up as a beacon of light in her circles and ceremonies is what matters most to Emily. Through her work she strives to inspire others to connect with their own inner healing and creativity, fostering a deeper sense of wholeness and connection.
