New Year Nature Mandala Workshop

Nature Mandala Workshop

Welcome the new year with intention, creativity, and connection to the natural world.

In this 2-hour art therapy workshop, we’ll begin with a grounding meditation to gently reflect on what we are ready to release and what we wish to invite in moving forward. Then we’ll step outdoors for a mindful nature walk, gathering fallen leaves, petals, seeds, and other small offerings from the land around us.

With these gathered pieces, you’ll create your own nature collage or mandala on a wooden plaque—a visual expression of your intentions for the year ahead. Mandalas are circular designs found across many cultural and spiritual traditions, symbolizing wholeness, unity, and the cyclical nature of life. As you arrange your materials, you’ll be invited to move slowly, listen inward, and let the process guide you as you set an intention for the new year..

This workshop offers a spacious, supportive environment to honor your path and set meaningful intentions through art and nature. No art experience is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to be present.

Facilitator Bio: Angela Modzelewski, ATR-P and LPC-A, integrates art-making with mindfulness and nature-based approaches to foster growth through creative expression. Her therapeutic art workshops support personal well-being, resilience, and reflection.
